Looking for new and exciting web ventures

A few angel investors including myself have formed into a small group earlier in 2007, seeking to actively invest in new web ventures.

All of us spent years in internet companies in the past, I"m personally ex CommTouch Inc, we have vast experience in this arena and are part of advisory boards in several companies seperatly.

We have so far looked at a couple of dozens of such newly formed companies and are involved with 2 companies so far as a group, yet still looking 4 companies that our radar has missed.

I would love to hear of exciting new web ventures via this powerful forum.

sorry have been over at the other site - israeli tech and have not been here for a while

one of the areas of communications that will be addressed sooner or later is the whole idea of community business being able to communicate with the community that they are located in in an efficient way. We know that this will happen sooner or later - business online to the people that they serve, so it is merely a matter of do you wish to do it now, or do you want to wait. Now what does such a concept look like? Well, it would be instantaneous business communication so that any one could click onto the system to see current business activity. Now this may seem like the easiest system in the world to design, however, one must consider that many have tried to design just such a system for the past 10 years, without being able to come up with it, it fact as we speak, just such a system is on the drawing boards somewhere with a group of computer analyst going over it. I have just such a system already designed.

If you can just imagine it for a second, a internet system where you go to, pull up, and are able to see all the sales, all the specials, in fact everything of a business nature that is being done that day all in front of you. Or, another way to put it is that the system would also be accessible to cell phone users who are on the road at any one time. They simply pull out their cell phones to find out all the business activities that are going on.

Again, this system will be here someday anyhow, it's just that we have gotten ahead of the ball and have developed it now and can begin to implement the whole idea. Just such a system is not expensive to develop as we have winnowed it right down. I hope this helps
